## All 25 places

- **Lasarett Matbar** (Wine bar): A small neighbourhood restaurant with a big personality on Torshov! Inside, you’ll find just six tables, six bar stools, and a seasonal set menu that changes often based on Norwegian ingredients. Their philosophy is down-to-earth and fully committed to sustainability, with their own vegetable garden, local ingredients, near zero food waste, and even surplus egg whites donated to a nearby cocktail bar. The kitchen is tiny and does very few allergy adjustments. This is also the team behind Lasarett, close by, and one of our absolute favourite wine spots in Oslo. The wine list here is both clever and exciting, and they’re approved by Star Wine List, listed as a ‘White Star’. The whole experience may be small in size, but it’s big on flavour! In summertime, they also serve a simpler menu with small plates and drinks out on the pavement. - **Bar Lupo** (Wine bar): Perfect for a date night! The menu here is inspired by the Venetian bacaro bars, small and informal wine bars that serve cicchetti (small dishes), which are perfect for sharing. We were two people and were recommended to share two snack dishes, two to three small plates and one or two pasta dishes. A perfect amount. Their veal and pork meatballs were full of flavour, and we ended up dipping focaccia into the tomato sauce once the meatballs were gone. The focaccia was crispy around the edges and the olives had just the right amount of heat. The grilled quail was tender, the cheese Ubriaco di rosso was lovely, and their endive and radicchio salad with anchovy and walnuts was also very good. To finish, a bowl of casarecce arrived. A ten hour onion ragu full of sweetness, depth and perfect texture. Delicious. Inside this place you'll will find soft lighting, brick walls, candlelight and a warm atmosphere. - **Las Palmas Inn** (Wine bar): [Temporarily closed] Natural wine and tinned snacks! A concept that fits this place perfectly. The bar has a cool, rustic vibe and feels just as laid-back as you’d want a night out in Oslo (or even on Gran Canaria) to be. On recommendation, we enjoyed a light and refreshing red and orange wine. Their tinned mussels were unfortunately sold out when we visited, so we went for a rainbow trout with melba toast. The fish was flavorful and turned out to be a surprisingly great snack to pair with wine. - **Evviva** (Wine bar): This is the coziest café in the Carl Berner area! Stepping inside feels a bit like stumbling upon a small Italian neighborhood café, overflowing with delicacies like focaccia, panini, fresh pastries, and a tempting selection of freshly sliced cheeses and cured meats. We’ve enjoyed many cappuccinos here on their charming outdoor seats. In the evenings it’s all about wine and aperitivo, and every now and then you might catch an intimate concert in the corner. Simply a lovely little neighborhood café and wine bar. The kind Oslo doesn’t have many of left! - **Merkur** (Wine bar): Wine and sake with a Japanese flair in St. Hanshaugen! This is a small and intimate yet wonderfully charming neighbourhood bar. Natural wine and natural sake take centre stage, but you can also get cocktails here and the Negroni is a must-try! The bar has kept the original 1930s interior, giving the place a distinctive character. Most of the décor features natural tones and wood, creating a relaxed and cosy atmosphere. As the name suggests, they have been inspired by the planet Mercury. The lighting casts a warm golden glow, and further inside you will find a large illustration of the planet. A fascinating and beautiful detail. So sit back, let your shoulders drop, and enjoy indie and indie pop playing softly in the background. - **Rouleur** (Wine bar): Imagine a bar where a good drink is paired with a cozy fireplace and Tour de France posters on the walls. Here, you can sip wine, beer, or their signature cocktail, the Nordmarka. And yes, this is even a bike repair shop! The wine selection features easy-drinking and fresh bottles from young producers, alongside some classic French elegance. The interior welcomes you with warm wood paneling, low lighting, and open doors in the summer that turn this place into more than just a bar. It’s like a friend request in bar form. Low-key and laid-back are perfect words to describe it, and this is a favorite for many. - **Båbler** (Wine bar): Right by Alexander Kiellands plass, you’ll find this little wine bar that invites you to enjoy wine, laughter, and some low-fi good vibes. You’ll regret it if you don’t step inside! The cozy space is a retro party full of bright colors and nostalgic details. It’s the place for those who want wine with personality, no fluff. The 80s beats here perfectly match both the flavorful sips and the easy conversations at the tables. The wine list ranges from funky natural wines by producers like Meinklang and Gut Oggau, to organic sparkling wines and pét-nat. Prices are quite reasonable too! Between 12 and 6 pm, you can choose from a variety of small plates, including sourdough bread, hummus, olives, cornichons, Persian potato salad, mortadella, vegan cured sausage, cheese, and sardines. - **Gapet** (Wine bar): This is a cozy little retro wine bar filled with green plants and industrial charm. They offer carefully curated French natural wines from the Loire and other regions, as well as classic cocktails like Daiquiri and Negroni. The snacks here are excellent too, with options like large green olives from Sicily, walnuts, chips served with sour cream and jalapeño dip, cheeses like Brillat-Savarin, and shrimp rolls with shrimp, crayfish tails and pickled jalapeños. Delicious! The relaxed atmosphere is perfectly complemented by music that swings between soft techno and funk, just right for casual conversation. - **Territoriet** (Wine bar): Grünerløkka’s coziest wine den! Nestled in bustling Markveien, this intimate wine bar has a timeless feel and offers nearly 450 different wines, most available by the glass. Vinyl records spin in the background as you enjoy a glass while mingling with some of Oslo’s coolest crowd. Alongside an impressive wine selection, they serve daily toast, cheese boards, serrano ham, olives, chips and other snacks. With seating both indoors and outdoors, it’s a perfect summer pitstop. That authentic Løkka vibe! - **Anam Cara** (Wine bar): A bar with its heart in the right place! This warm and inviting cocktail and wine bar is built around the concept of “soul friend.” The name Anam Cara is pre-Celtic and means “soulmate,” which is exactly the feeling they hope to give you here. They offer a great selection of wines and a truly unique cocktail menu inspired by various immigrant cultures in the US. Extra praise goes to their excellent mocktail menu! The interior features colorful touches—greens, terracotta and wooden furniture—that create a cozy, welcoming vibe. - **Kastellet** (Wine bar): At the bottom of Hegdehaugsveien, you’ll find this vibrant wine bar, cocktail bar and restaurant. An urban favorite spread over three floors, offering great flavors, wine and atmosphere. Here you can enjoy a relatively affordable and casual menu featuring dishes like mussels, sirloin, cheeses, oysters, bread and sharing plates. The space is bright, well designed and filled with happy people as the vibe livens up into the evening. - **Radegast** (Wine bar): Hidden “in plain sight” in the backyard of Nedre Foss Gård by Akerselva, you’ll find Grünerløkka’s very own wine gem. They offer an impressive selection, many available by the glass. The space is thoughtfully designed and atmospheric, with soft lighting. You’re literally surrounded by wine here, with glass cabinets filled with bottles lining every wall. In summer, you can enjoy your wine outside in the backyard (one of the best in the city) and when the cold sets in, the crackling fireplace makes the perfect companion. [details](https://osloexplore.com/oslo/places/radegast.md) | [website](https://www.nedrefossgaard.no/radegast?utm_source=osloexplore.com&utm_medium=map) | [directions](https://www.google.com/maps/place/Radegast+Wine+Bar/@59.9220975,10.7513566,409m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x46416e65e61eaca7:0x43c437fc091ecd3b!8m2!3d59.9220975!4d10.7539315!16s%2Fg%2F11hczyhm1f?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDYwNC4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D)
- **Becco** (Wine bar): Right after our first visit, we fell in love with this place, and it’s become a local favorite for many in the city. The spot has a retro vibe, and the backyard feels urban and cozy – which we absolutely love. When they also host live music from time to time, the experience feels complete! Inside, it’s bright and airy thanks to a “hole” in the ceiling leading up to the second floor, plus plenty of windows letting in natural light. Wine and music are clearly Becco’s great passions. With a wide selection of drinks and talented staff behind the bar, we think most people will find something they love here. [details](https://osloexplore.com/oslo/places/becco.md) | [website](https://becco.no/?utm_source=osloexplore.com&utm_medium=map) | [directions](https://www.google.com/maps/place/Becco/@59.9171293,10.7356274,462m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x46416f9144b8f5f1:0xca2252d95db253dc!8m2!3d59.9171293!4d10.7382023!16s%2Fg%2F11pdy6pyn_?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDUxNS4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D)
- **B-Vin** (Wine bar): At the bottom of Løkka, B-VIN has found its home. They offer a monthly wine selection alongside a clear wine list featuring sparkling, white, orange, rosé and red wines. They also serve a range of snacks, a few small dishes and a dessert, and you can reserve the Chef’s menu – a six-course meal paired with wines. Exposed brick walls, light wood surfaces and rust red walls create a warm and inviting atmosphere. We’d guess the space holds around 35 to 40 guests. [details](https://osloexplore.com/oslo/places/b-vin.md) | [website](https://www.b-vin.no/?utm_source=osloexplore.com&utm_medium=map) | [directions](https://www.google.com/maps/place/B+VIN/@59.9185643,10.7577653,462m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x46416fa5a7f78b09:0xd6251ed864d2f20c!8m2!3d59.9185643!4d10.7603402!16s%2Fg%2F11lty6py8q?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDUxNS4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D)
- **Sparta** (Wine bar): This is the place to drop by for a whole baked camembert, or even order a little bowl of candy with your wine. Just because you can! Cheese, wine, and long evenings are always a classic. What started out as a great wine bar with snacks has, after its success, expanded into a full food bar too. The menu is tempting and we’ve enjoyed dishes like crab salad and halibut with fennel and beurre blanc. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, with high ceilings, rust-red walls, and soft lighting. And while they’ve always been known for their wide range of wines, the cocktails here are just as impressive! [details](https://osloexplore.com/oslo/places/sparta.md) | [website](https://www.spartaoslo.no/?utm_source=osloexplore.com&utm_medium=map) | [directions](https://www.google.com/maps/place/Sparta/@59.9163159,10.7474743,462m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x46416f004b212533:0x6992fd56cf111427!8m2!3d59.9163159!4d10.7500492!16s%2Fg%2F11wfyq8xpp?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDUxNS4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D)
- **Kuro** (Wine bar): Three family members opened this cozy café and bar together. They renovated the space, built the furniture and decorated in a simple style with beige and white tones. We really like it! There’s seating both inside and outside, and this little spot in lower Grünerløkka, right next to Apostrophe, is definitely worth a visit. [details](https://osloexplore.com/oslo/places/kuro.md) | [website](https://www.instagram.com/kuro.oslo/?hl=en) | [directions](https://www.google.com/maps/place/Kuro+Oslo/@59.920744,10.7582565,462m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x46416fefb682a879:0x38c9ad6aa4e13ca8!8m2!3d59.9207441!4d10.7631274!16s%2Fg%2F11t27k5j1k?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDUxNS4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D)
- **Roze Gastro** (Wine bar): A neighborhood bar in Bislett with great food and a laidback vibe. The dishes are made with Norwegian ingredients and change with the seasons. Both the menu and portions are on the smaller side, but they complement each other well and the prices are quite reasonable considering the quality. The space is stylish and warm, with a relaxed and down to earth atmosphere. [details](https://osloexplore.com/oslo/places/roze-gastro.md) | [website](https://www.rozegastro.no/?utm_source=osloexplore.com&utm_medium=map) | [directions](https://www.google.com/maps/place/Roze+Gastro/@59.9292199,10.7304136,461m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x46416f3e511c4353:0xf941df355bfafd0b!8m2!3d59.9292199!4d10.7329885!16s%2Fg%2F11y5p46n36?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDUxNS4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D)
- **Vespa & Humla** (Wine bar): Tucked away in Rodeløkka near Grünerløkka, you’ll find this local gem. They serve a delicious brunch on wooden boards, which adds a fun little twist, all in relaxed and charming surroundings. In summer, the outdoor seating by the street is cozy and gets great sun. In the evenings from Thursday to Saturday, they serve sourdough pizza and craft beer from Grünerløkka Brygghus, which just so happens to be located right in the backyard. Now they have also focused on being a wine bar in the evenings. It is small and intimate, but surprisingly spacious. The interior is rustic, and the atmosphere feels cozy. [details](https://osloexplore.com/oslo/places/vespa-humla.md) | [website](https://www.vespaoghumla.no/?utm_source=osloexplore.com&utm_medium=map) | [directions](https://www.google.com/maps/place/Vespa+%26+Humla/@59.9248572,10.7602732,923m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x46416e684676961f:0x65051c3dd53cf1ed!8m2!3d59.9248572!4d10.7628481!16s%2Fg%2F12mkqz0pz?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDUxNS4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D)
- **Vinkassen** (Wine bar): The charming little wine bar is called Vinkassen, and that’s exactly what you’ll find inside – a big box filled with bottles available by the glass. After ten years working as chefs, two young Danes decided to open a local wine bar in Bislett, Oslo. Tired of all the cheese platters being served at the city’s wine bars, they wanted to create a spot with both great wine and proper food on the menu. Here you’ll always find a solid and varied selection by the glass, along with a food menu full of tempting small plates inspired by Italian, Spanish and French flavors. [details](https://osloexplore.com/oslo/places/vinkassen.md) | [website](https://diningsix.no/vinkassen/?utm_source=osloexplore.com&utm_medium=map) | [directions](https://www.google.com/maps/place/Vinkassen/@59.9283344,10.7325128,16z/data=!4m6!3m5!1s0x46416f9681689dd3:0xfb2bd194b6eb620d!8m2!3d59.928404!4d10.7325388!16s%2Fg%2F11vkj8r720?entry=tts&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDQzMC4xIPu8ASoASAFQAw%3D%3D&skid=1fb0d6bd-fb25-4d46-b7c4-79c5d91fddfa)
- **Eff Eff Oyster and Wine Bar** (Wine bar): Oysters are more popular than ever, and if there’s one place you can count on to serve them in all kinds of styles, it’s right here in Fredensborg. Alongside the delicate star of the menu, the space offers a maritime feel with sea inspired artwork on the ceiling and a bright, airy interior. In addition to plenty of great wine, the menu is kept short and sweet, focusing mainly on oysters with a few other small bites like pickled herring. [details](https://osloexplore.com/oslo/places/eff-eff-oyster-and-wine-bar.md) | [website](https://www.effeff.no/?utm_source=osloexplore.com&utm_medium=map) | [directions](https://www.google.com/maps/place/Eff+Eff+Oyster+and+Wine+Bar/@59.9184878,10.7450834,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x46416facc042b469:0x9e95e939d8c0ac1d!8m2!3d59.9184878!4d10.7476637!16s%2Fg%2F11h42tn8hr?entry=tts&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDQzMC4xIPu8ASoASAFQAw%3D%3D&skid=3e5bc0cc-1aea-4a7b-a361-b81efb9ae638)
- **Nektar Vinbar** (Wine bar): The wine bar in the little red wooden house in Fredensborg has become a true Oslo favorite. Here you’ll find an exciting selection of great wine and tasty small plates. Nektar has previously been named the best wine bar in Oslo, and it absolutely lives up to the title. They offer a carefully curated wine list and flavorful, locally sourced food made with sustainable ingredients, all served in warm and welcoming surroundings.
