# Must-Visit Vintage Spots

Oslo’s top vintage places to visit! Our Experience Manager is a true thrifter, and these spots are her absolute favorites. You can do this route every day except Sundays (when Inventarium and M&E Secondhand are closed) and Mondays (when Lite Nytt is closed). Please double-check the opening hours at each place, as they may change. Tip! Another top pick is Botanisk Hage Møbelforretning, but since it’s only open on Saturdays from 12 to 2 PM, it’s a great bonus stop if you’re visiting Oslo over the weekend.

5 stops from Galleri Normisjon to Lite Nytt, starting 12:00, about 50 minutes of travel between stops.

## The stops in order

1. **12:00 Galleri Normisjon** (Secondhand): In this vintage shop on Grünerløkka, you’ll find both everyday bargains and rare finds in a calm, social atmosphere. They offer clothing for adults and kids, small furniture, books and décor—all at friendly prices. The space is bright and tidy, and the shop is run by volunteers, with profits going to Normisjon’s international work. Then walking about 4 min to the next stop.
2. **13:00 Inventarium** (Secondhand): A small, curated and charming spot where old treasures get a new life, wrapped up in authentic Løkka vibes. The selection changes often and you’ll find everything from vintage lamps and ceramics to furniture, clothing and little details. The space is intimate but bursting with personality, featuring chandeliers, shelves packed with rare glass pieces and retro rugs. Then walking about 12 min to the next stop.
3. **14:10 M&E Secondhand Grensen** (Secondhand): We were surprised by both the size of the store and the range of items available—from clothing for adults and kids to accessories, books, furniture and artwork. The shop is spacious, spread over one floor with different rooms dedicated to each category. Despite the wide selection, it’s not a specialty store for vintage designer clothes if that’s what you’re after. Prices here are generally a bit more affordable compared to other vintage shops in Oslo. They also have a location in Hasle. Then walking about 20 min to the next stop.
4. **15:30 Fransk Bazar** (Secondhand): This place is simply a treasure trove of a vintage shop! Fransk Bazar offers items across many categories—interior décor, clothing, bags, paintings, jewelry and all sorts of knick-knacks. It’s hard to take it all in with so much to see, but we especially noticed elegant perfume bottles with spray nozzles, a Louis Vuitton designer bag, and lots of beautiful jewelry. Almost everything is imported from France, and most items are second hand, except for the jewelry. Definitely worth stopping by—this is a shop that’s truly one of a kind! Then transit about 14 min to the next stop.
5. **16:45 Lite Nytt** (Secondhand): A little hidden away in Vålerenga, you can find retro furniture and design treasures with vintage gems from the 1950s to 1980s—think iconic lamps, teak dressers and dinnerware. Every piece is handpicked, and new finds regularly pop up in this small, personal shop.
