These terms and conditions ("Terms of Use") govern your access to and use of Oslo Explore's website and services at www.osloexplore.com or www.meravoslo.no/oslo-explore ("Website").

By using the Website or purchasing experiences, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, you must not use the Website or purchase experiences and activities.

Core Service

Oslo Explore provides a platform where customers can discover and book experiences with the following discount structure:

  • 10% discount on single experiences
  • 15% discount on packages of two experiences
  • 20% discount on packages of three or more experiences
  • Customized discounts for larger groups or special events

All purchased experiences are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified.

Booking and Check-in

Booking:

  • All experiences must be booked in advance through the Oslo Explore platform.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Experiences can be purchased for personal use or as a gift.
  • Once an experience is activated, it is non-transferable.

Check-in Process

  • Check-in typically opens 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.
  • Customers must activate their digital ticket on their mobile device upon arrival.
  • The activated ticket must be shown to the experience provider.
  • Failure to check in within the specified window may result in the booking being forfeited.
  • In case of late arrival, please contact the experience provider directly.

Payment Methods

  • We accept major credit cards and digital payment methods.
  • All prices are listed in Norwegian Krone (NOK).
  • Payments are processed securely through our payment partners.

Cancellation and Changes

Cancellations

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the experience start time are eligible for a full refund.
  • No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 48 hours of the start time.
  • Failure to show up for an experience will result in forfeiture of the booking without refund.

Emergencies

  • In case of emergency, please contact our support team immediately.
  • Valid documentation (e.g., medical certificate) may be required for emergency rebooking.
  • Rebooking due to emergencies is subject to approval by Oslo Explore and the provider.
  • Emergency requests are processed as quickly as possible.

Changes

  • Changes to bookings are subject to availability and provider policies.
  • Most changes can be made directly through your booking page.
  • Changes are generally not permitted within 48 hours of the experience start time.

Provider Obligations

Service Standards

  • Providers must provide the same level of service to Oslo Explore customers as to other customers.
  • Providers are responsible for maintaining accurate availability information.
  • Providers must honor all confirmed bookings made through the platform.
  • Providers must comply with all local laws and regulations.
  • We encourage providers to follow sustainable and ethical business practices.

Booking Management

  • Providers should respond to booking requests and inquiries promptly.
  • Providers may only reject bookings under specific, justified circumstances.
  • Providers are responsible for validating customer check-ins.

Platform Rules

Prohibited Activities

  • Attempting to circumvent the platform's booking or payment systems is prohibited.
  • Harassment of providers or other users will not be tolerated.
  • Providing false or misleading information is strictly prohibited.
  • Unauthorized resale of experiences is not permitted.
  • Transferring bookings to other individuals without authorization is prohibited.

Content and Reviews

  • Customers are encouraged to leave honest reviews of their experiences.
  • Reviews must be based on actual experiences and remain respectful.
  • We reserve the right to remove inappropriate or fraudulent content.
  • Providers have the right to respond to reviews in a professional manner.

Liability and Insurance

Platform Liability

  • Oslo Explore acts as a marketplace and is not responsible for the actual delivery of experiences.
  • While we vet our providers, we cannot guarantee the quality of every experience.
  • Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the experience.

Insurance

  • Providers are required to maintain appropriate insurance for their activities.
  • Customers participate in experiences at their own risk.
