At this local grocer, it is easy to spend more time than planned. We certainly did. The shop in Ullevål Hageby is warm and welcoming, with a space that feels especially cozy. The shelves are filled with everything from cheeses, cured meats and fresh produce to sweet treats and small gift ideas that are hard to walk past without stopping. This is the place for anyone who loves browsing unique shops and taking their time. PS! They also offer ready made dinner bags you can take home.

A little breathing space at St. Hanshaugen with Japandi aesthetics, handcrafted ceramics, and Japanese treasures. It is the kind of shop you might easily walk past, not because it is dull, but because it is tucked away on a quiet side street. A shame more people do not know about it, since it is packed with hidden gems. You will find ceramics, clothing, coffee, Japanese tea, matcha, and other delicate drinks. Last time we stopped by, we even got a tasting of the daily coffee, served with candied orange at the bottom. A fresh and fruity twist you will not find many other places in the neighborhood. PS! The shop is only open on weekends, but it is absolutely worth the visit.
