A sensory summer getaway with flowers on stems, dirt on your fingers and coffee in hand. Here, you can pick your own blooms from the rolling flower fields at Oslo Blomsterverksted. Depending on the season, you’ll find tulips, ranunculus, yarrow and dahlias, among others. You create your own summer bouquet and wrap it up at your own pace. Take the subway to Ryen—about 15 minutes from the city center—followed by a short 15 to 20 minute walk. It’s well worth it, as you’ll get to wander among lush colors, find peace under the pergola or settle by the Apaldasin coffee wagon to enjoy homemade pastries, coffee or apple juice from the farm’s own cider press. The pick-your-own season runs from April to September.
