The staff are super helpful in finding a coffee with just the right bitterness to suit your taste. The space is small with only four tables, but there’s a sofa along the wall and bar stools by the window. Java

On St. Hanshaugen, right by the park, you’ll find this warm, slightly rustic coffee gem. Regulars sit dangling their legs on bar stools while the aroma of freshly ground espresso and fresh croissants fills the bright and airy space. Java is simple and down to earth, yet deeply rooted in the craft of coffee. The heart of it all is the coffee, roasted at Kaffa’s roastery, and served by knowledgeable baristas!

Fuglen Sentrum
There’s a lot to suggest that this is one of Oslo’s most charming cafés. With original interior details from the coffee and tea shop that first opened here back in 1963, it’s no surprise the place has such a unique atmosphere. They serve high quality coffee and even have their own roastery located in Gamlebyen.

Mocca

Mocca started out as a coffee bar and roastery back in 2001, so it’s only natural that you’ll get served some truly wonderful coffee here. The staff are friendly, though the space isn’t the coziest spot to settle into during winter. On the bright side, they have a wide variety of baked goods on display, tempting you with everything from cakes to buttery pastries and yeast breads!
