Near the lower end of Bogstadveien, you will find this bakery located in Roald Amundsen’s former home. There is something special about the contrast between the busy city life outside and the calm, traditional atmosphere inside. Here, the baked goods truly take center stage, as the bakery is built on long craftsmanship traditions. We went for a cinnamon knot with cream cheese filling and the Aanerud bun, a soft wheat bun generously filled with vanilla custard and topped with chocolate. Highly recommended. The interior is decorated in a traditional Norwegian style, with wood paneling, old photographs on the walls and small seating areas that create a warm, homely feel.
