Duken Bar & Pizza

Bar and pizza in the same sentence? We were sold immediately. This new spot on Grünerløkka combines the best of both worlds: great pizza and a laid-back bar vibe. It’s run by the same team behind Skovveien Bar & Pizza, which in itself is reason enough to stop by. The pizza menu isn’t huge but offers both classics and more creative options. We went for the 'Pepperoni' and the 'Szechuan Potato', a flavorful pizza with an Asian twist. We paired our meal with a glass of red wine, but they also have beer and various cocktails behind the bar. With a DJ setup near the entrance, it’s easy to imagine the vibe picking up as the evening goes on. So even if you only came for the pizza, chances are you’ll end up staying a little longer (with a glass or two).
