What you can attend on 10 December

The People's Peace Prize Celebration runs 11:30 to 17:00 in front of the Nobel Peace Center. The ceremony is screened outside the centre on a big screen, with Norwegian subtitles on English speeches. The centre lists the screening as 12:00 to 13:30, but also says the ceremony starts at 13:00 and lasts 1.5 hours, so expect it to end around 14:30.

The torchlight procession starts outside the Peace Center at 16:45 with speeches and music, and runs until 18:00. The centre invites everyone to the procession. Neither site explains how to get into the ceremony itself, so do not plan on it.
