Dar al Maghreb

A little piece of Morocco in Majorstua! The air here is filled with the scent of freshly baked bread, warm spices, and a touch of North Africa. Expect authentic Moroccan dishes and an atmosphere rich with tradition. When we visited, we enjoyed the vegetarian couscous and the chicken tagine with green olives and fries. For the full Moroccan experience, go for the Chef’s Menu. It includes two cold starters, two warm starters, a main course with lamb or chicken, and of course, khobz, the traditional Moroccan bread. The restaurant is colorful and full of charm, with Moroccan details from floor to ceiling. Ceramic plates in vibrant colors hang on the walls, brass and glass lanterns sparkle in the corners, and the tables are dressed with patterned cloths. You’re even welcomed with dates as a snack. Just note that no alcohol is served here, but they offer a nice selection of alcohol-free wine and a dedicated mocktail menu.
