Punk Royale

Wild, slightly luxurious and above all an all out evening with no boundaries. In Frognerveien you step into a dark and crowded room where the smoke hangs low, the music is far too loud, and fine dining is turned up to a wilder level. Think a mix of nightclub, a hint of fairground and a luxury restaurant, with strobe lights, smoke machines and an energetic service team pouring vodka, serving crispy snacks and small dishes at a pace that makes you completely lose track of time. The concept opened in Oslo in 2022 as the little sister to the original in Stockholm. It has the same playful chaos and the same serious ingredients, just with a subtle Norwegian touch. At the table you are served caviar, oysters, spoons and small bites that look more mischievous than elegant, but the flavours deliver. There is only one menu and it includes a drinks package. It is still just as popular, so booking in advance is essential. Some people think it is too much, others call it the wildest restaurant in Oslo and come back for round two and three. Simply because it is a lot of fun.
