This dining experience was unlike anything we’ve tried before, and we’ve really come to love Yemeni food. Here at Grønland, you’re served food the traditional way, on the floor, eating with your hands in cozy private booths. It truly feels like a journey to Yemen, with freshly baked bread, rich hummus, tender lamb, and steamed beef. We tore the bread into pieces and used it as cutlery, just like they do in Yemen. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with carpets on the floor, deep red cushions, and art on the walls. Next time, we’ll definitely try their traditional tea. Just a heads-up, this isn’t the place to go if you’re after wine, cocktails, or beer. Here it’s all about juice, tea, and soft drinks.
